Who does the installation?

Pueblo Cars will be responsible for the installation onto the web server of your choice to make sure everything is in working order. If you have experience installing cgi applications we have a complete installation guide available so you can set the script up yourself.

What is the format of the data in the Virtual Lot Manger?

The data file created is a simple pipe (|) delimited text file. CLICK HERE

I have my inventory with another service but not my own website. Can I scrub their data files and use them in your program on my new website?

You can keep the other services working for you and simply convert the data files from their service to ours. If you provide us with a sample set of data we can create a conversion routine for you.

Can you use the information from your program to update other auto services?

The Virtual Lot Manager does not have any specific export utilities. Since the data file can easily be converted to a comma delimited, tab delimited, etc, the raw data could potentially be used with other services.

We have created a header and footer plug-in to allow any website to be easily and seamlessly integrated with your website. Determine where you would like the Virtual Lot Manager to appear within your website. Cut the HTML in half at that point. The top part of the html will become header.inc and the second half of the html footer.inc. Upload these two files and The Virtual Lot Manager will look just like your website in a matter of minutes. Click on the header.inc and footer.inc link above, view the source files of both and place into one file. All links must be absolute and not relative links. What are the server requirements to run the Virtual Lot Manager?

The Virtual Lot Manager will operate on Windows NT or Unix/Linux operating systems.  You need to have PERL 5 installed and the ability to run cgi scripts on your website. If you want to host your website and the Virtual Lot Manager on our servers please see our hosting plans for pricing and more information. The Windows NT version does not have an automatic upload. You will have to rename your photos to the stock# and then ftp over the files.

Can I download a demo of the program to try it for 30 days?

Currently at this point we do not offer a program to download.  Please see our DEMONSTRATION page to fully demo an online version. 

What are the benefits of using this software over others?

The Virtual Lot Manager is an extremely simple and 'fast' software solution designed specifically to show website audiences your current inventory and to generate leads, requests and sales. Inputting the data is as simple as filling out a form and handling digital pictures is a simple upload process. If you have access to a computer and the Internet the entire software application is run from the browser. No worries about having to have some special software installed on every computer you may use to update the site.
